What??! No France?

Great app overall but lacking one of the most important countries.

South of France.....my favorite wine region!

I love the new additions!

Great!

Im loving this app! I cant wait for the additional countries in future updates! This app really helps you learn about regions and different grapes to help you choose a bottle in a restaurant or at the store. Keep up the great work!

Useful

Its great! And to think that I got it when it was once free!

Outstanding resource!

Like a wine encyclopedia in your hand! Cant wait for future updates! :-)

As always another great update!

I have been looking for a wine app that actually worked for a long time and I think this one is just about perfect.

CCWiner72

The application is very informative but it would have been nice to get suggestion of wines we can buy from our local wine shops.

Mediocre

Very limited information to effectively order wine in a restaurant - poorly thought out app.

Y

Not what it says. Waste of money. No washington or Oregon wines

Missing!

This app is missing other very important AVAs of the world!

MY OWN PRIVATE "WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE"!

I JUST LOVE IMPRESSING THE WAITER WITH MY SELECTIONS!!! GREAT INFORMATION! CANT WAIT FOR YOUR NEXT UPDATE!!!

Love it!

Super informative! I love that you can pick a wine based on food. Great app!!

Just because a wine region only produces 700 million bottles...

There is no Bordeaux ?!

Not bad, but needs more countries.

Not a bad app but if you are charging for this then more countries are a must. With the addition of more countries adding more stars.

Very handy!

Owned this app for a while...new country updates released regularly, so I am happy. All around, very well done!

No Germany

I dont like it. Too specific / narrow in scope. I did not notice until after purchase that no German wines.. Limited countries. Insufficient information. I discarded it on day 1.

amazing app

I have been using (& loving) the Italian Wines that were part of the initial purchase. I cant believe the Spanish addition is included in the upgrade! I think this app speaks for itself when it has impressed a few (not just 1) sommelier at some great NY restaurants. I felt a little foolish pulling it out at first but then when I saw the response, I not only use it openly now but Ive started sharing it with the tables next to me! The information is great and I have never been disappointed with a wine choice guided by this app. It has also helped me save money. In the past, if I didnt know the wine selection, I would buy something rather blindly in the middle price range. Now I choose based off of real, factual information and have often found some great deals on the lists. This is one app that does not disappoint!

A guy

Pretty useless unless learning that Bordeaux and Priorat make good red wines but that they can be expensive is news to you. Oh, and that they make some "world class" sherry in Sherry. Odd choices abound with sparkling section listing cremant and cava but no Champagne. Nothing on key areas of Burgundy and Champagne in a wine app? Give me a break. Almost no producers mentioned by name..... Maps almost useless.

Useful app for trying new wines.

This is my favorite wine app. Helps me find new wines to try, especially on complicated lists where I dont always know all of the grapes listed. Dont know why people give bad reviews for what is clearly stated in description, but oh well. Here are the things you need to know. 1) The app has been updated every 1-2 months with new content and features 2) the content is well-researched and has taught me a lot (e.g. I didnt know that Napa had so many micro-climates nor how/why they affect the character of the wine). Buy this app. You wont be disappointed and will definitely improve your wine knowledge. 5 STARS!!!!!

An excellent reference tool, with more regions added regularly

There is a fair amount of impatient criticism of this app from 2010, when it was rolled out and only covered a limited range of countries and regions. Ignore it. AGWine promised new regions would be added and over the past year theyve done exactly that. If you have any questions what it covers, go to the AGWine website. I use it primarily to help me identify what years were good for which regions and Ive been totally pleased at what I got for my money. (And I rarely pay for apps.)
